Bespoke Design Process

Creating custom wedding stationery is a journey—and one I’m honored to take with you. Here’s how we’ll bring your vision to life, step by step:

We begin with an introductory call to get to know each other and talk through your vision. From there, you’ll complete a creative questionnaire where you can share the essence of your celebration—vibes, adjectives (think: ‘beachy elegance’ or ‘country chic’), color palettes, and anything else that inspires you. Keep an open mind—sometimes the most magical ideas come from the unexpected.

Concept & Sketch

Next, I’ll create a personalized mood board capturing style, colors, and inspiration. Once the overall concept is agreed, I'll move on to preliminary design sketches to map out layout, size, and overall structure. These are simplified sketches meant to guide our direction. Major edits happen here, so it’s the perfect time to refine before moving into the details. You’ll have two rounds of revisions for concept illustrations and overall composition.

3.

Paint & Polish

With sketches approved, I’ll begin illustrating and painting your design. This is where everything comes to life in full color and detail. You’ll have two rounds of revisions for things like color tweaks or text edits. You’ll have one round of revisions for things like color tweaks or text edits.

Once finalized, your design heads to production. Flat printing is the quickest option, while upgrades like letterpress or specialty die cuts can add extra time. We’ll choose what suits your style best.

I offer full mailing services—envelope stuffing, addressing, postage, and mailing—so everything arrives beautifully and stress-free. Or, if you’d prefer to assemble yourself, I’ll package your suite with care and clear instructions.

In all, the entire process will take about 3 months, depending on the complexity of the designs, revisions, and printing methods.
